Minnesota Parent: “Have you seen the billboards?”

Our billboard and transit campaign to raise awareness about Minnesota’s staggering achievement gaps is generating buzz throughout the state and helping to ensure more Minnesotans are aware of the unacceptable performance of our schools for our children of color.

Minnesota Parent highlighted the campaign in its October letter from the editor and urged readers to become more aware of inequality. The magazine also wants to hear from more parents and writers of color.

We applaud Minnesota Parent’s effort and agree that diverse perspectives are critical to building a more equitable educational system in our state.
